The consultation set out our proposals for implementing the coroner reforms in Part 1 of the Coroners and Justice Act 2009.
It sought views on proposed coroner investigation regulations, inquest rules, fee and allowance regulations, coroner areas, and statutory guidance for bereaved people.
The response document summarises the views we received in response to the consultation and explains the changes we are making as a result.
The response document will be of interest to everyone who replied to the consultation and, more generally, coroners, coroners' officers and other staff, bereaved people, the voluntary organisations who help bereaved people, local authorities, and all those who have an interest in coroner services.
