The consultation paper 'Public Bodies Act 2011: Consultation on an order to give legal effect to the administrative merger of the Crown Prosecution Service and Revenue and Customs Prosecutions Office' invited comments on the proposal to make an order to give legal effect to the administrative merger of the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) and the Revenue and Customs Prosecutions Office (RCPO). A total of 8 responses to the consultation were received and they all either supported or did not object to the proposal.
The response paper confirms that the Government intends to proceed with the Order as proposed.
